While there is no cure for Parkinson's disease, research has shown that exercise can be a powerful tool for managing its symptoms. Regular physical activity has been found to stimulate the brain's production of dopamine, effectively compensating for the reduced levels caused by the disease. Exercise also contributes to neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to reorganize and form new connections—which is crucial for adapting to the changes brought on by Parkinson's.
